A prudent man foresees the evil that is coming!

The collective perspective on the news, has been occupying my thoughts considerably, and I believe I have a responsibility to pass it on to you, my beloved brethren.

Eretz Yisrael is facing the very likely probability of its most dangerous war yet. And by all counts, it will be sooner rather than later.

And it won’t be just Eretz Yisrael’s problem. It will touch our life in ways we can imagine and in ways we don’t want to imagine, though we live miles and oceans away from the Middle East.

Frankly speaking, we abroad (Diaspora) and those of you in Yisrael – MUST take heed of the biblical warning:

A prudent man foresees the evil that is coming, and prepares himself; but the foolish carry on, and suffer from it.

Proverbs 22:3

Our mounting concern for what we see and feel is coming for Yisrael demands that we prepare, lest we fall into the category of the “foolish” described in the proverb quoted above.

Frankly speaking, Eretz Yisrael needs our support NOW.

Hizbollah’s greatly enlarged arsenal sits on Eretz Yisrael’s northern border. Hamas routinely sends their operatives for training in Iran and Syria and the smuggling of arms and machinery continues despite what you read in certain media.

According to experts in the field, Iran already has access to nuclear warheads, as do other Arab nations.

So therefor beloved brethren, please start praying with “Kavana” in order to soften any harsh decree against Eretz Yisrael.

As our beloved Rabbi Lazer Brody states, it’s not with weapons, latest model jet’s or weapons that we are going to overcome our enemies, but with earnest PRAYER.

Hashem is only requesting that we have Emunah, Pray and let Him take care of the situation.

By no means must/can we put our trust in this anti-Torah, anti_Emunah, Zionist Government, they are absolutely lost and don’t have the faintest idea as to what to do; from the news you can clearly see that they are going from one mistake to another.

Hashem is our One and Only Saviour, so stop looking around and start praying, studying Torah, doing Mitzvots, don’t wait until tomorrow, then it might be to late.

If you want to wake up to another day, see your kids grow up, then please start PRAYING, return to Hashem, the Gates of Forgiveness are wide open for you. Tomorrow, may just be too late.

Rabb Nati, is now under the threat of Administrative detention.

What has Rabbi Nati done, in order for this terrible threat to be pending over him?

As far as I can see and know, Rabbi Nati is wanting the Geulah! Yes, that Moshiach come now.

This, the Israeli Governmant considers, is a revolution in their eyes, dangerous for world or national order.

Just in case you didn’t know, the Israel Internal Security Service, the Shabak, has been interrogating Rabbi Nati nightly, all night, every night, ALL WEEK, on the revolution that Breslov and the Tzaddik of Meah Shearim are setting up. The one called Moshiach and the other Geulah.

It appears that they are in the process of trying to set up the Tzadik HaRav Shalom Arush, shlita and his followers as right wing religious zealots who want turn over the world, or at least the Israeli government.

Now then, what have Rabi Nati and the Tzadik HaRav Shalom Arush, shlita and his followers, been doing for them to be considered by the Isralei Government as a menace to the Israeli Government. As far as I know and everyone in Eretz Yisrael knows, there only doings have been requesting Klal Yisrael to pray, do hisbodedut, tikun chazot and study Torah. And why? Beacause of the impending dangers that Eretz Yisrael is facing, such as the Iranian threat to wipe Eretz Yisrael out of the face of world, the latent menace of Hizballah, the constant attacks of Kassam rockets from Hamas, and the division of our Holy City Jerusalem.

So as you can see, there is absolutely nothing wrong or agaist Torah, or the Israeli Government, in what they are doing.

Well from what we are seeing in the news, it’s more than apparent that this anti-Torah, anti-Emunah government is living its last hours, and as you can see, neither did Rabbi Nati or the Tzadik HaRav Shalom Arush, shlita, have anything whatsoever to do with it.

Brethren let’s all unite in prayer, that Hashem protect Rabbi Nati and the Tzadik HaRav Shalom Arush, shlita and his followers, against those evil forces that want to shut them up and harm them, Heaven forbid.

The New York Times carries a review of a film called ‘Hot House’ that goes inside Israeli prisons and examines the lives of Palestinian prisoners. We’re not recommending the film or the review ..But we do want to share our feelings with you about the beaming female face that adorns the article.

That female is our child’s murderer. She was sentenced to sixteen life sentences or 320 years which she is serving in an Israeli jail. Fifteen people were killed and more than a hundred maimed and injured by the actions of this “attractive” person and her associates.

Her name was Malka. Visit her website so that she not be forgotten.

Can Israel Resist US Pressure?

The US has made Israel dependent on it.

Recently, we hear that Ehud Olmert offered to cede the Golan Heights to Syria, and I commented that the Golan is safe for now. For now; but ultimately the US will be pressuring Israel to do the deal. As Ami Isseroff points out in “Territorial Integrity: American Middle East policy and what it means for Israel“, it has always been US policy to force Israel to trade land for peace.

To accomplish its goals, the US has made Israel dependent on it for military supply and diplomatic support, in order to gain influence on Israel. Recently, in keeping with this policy, Rice advised Israel that the US would not send extra supplies to Israel, but would keep them in the US.

There are two factors that remain obstacles to US plans, however. The determination of most Israelis to not cede all the land demanded or to divide Jerusalem is one. The other is the Arab rejectionist camp of Iran, Syria, Hizbullah and Hamas – which reject peace with Israel.

Precisely at 10:00 am this morning, sirens blared throughout the entire country of Israel and everyone stopped. Cars on highways and city streets immediately halted, as you see on the right in Jerusalem, drivers stepped out beside their vehicles, lowered their heads and there was absolute silence for two minutes while a nation mourned the loss of six million of its people at the hands of the Nazis in World War II.

During the reading of the names at the Knesset today of those who perished, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and President Shimon Peres read out the names of family members who were killed in the Holocaust, participating in a Knesset ceremony marking the annual Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day. President Peres – who recited the names of his grandparents – took a moment to speak of his memory of them: “When we said goodbye in the train station, before I left to come to Israel, they gave me just two words – ‘be Jewish.’”

Cabinet ministers, MKs and survivors of the World War II Nazi genocide also took part in the state ceremony.

Holocaust Memorial Day is an intensely personal day for Israelis as a very large majority of our citizens lost relatives in the camps of eastern Europe. For those who didn’t lose personal family members, the magnitude of the atrocities against our own people staggers the mind and the alarming rise of anti-Semitism across the world at this time gives this day an additional measure of pain and a quiet but very real anxiety.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi visited the Warsaw Ghetto and a Jewish cemetery in Poland ahead of Holocaust Remembrance Day, ahead of leading thousands of Jews from around the world today in the annual March of the Living at the Auschwitz concentration camp. It is the first time that an IDF Chief will lead the march.

Ashkenazi visited the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw, Poland to pay his respects to the Jews who died in the Warsaw Ghetto. Ashkenazi stood silent for a few moments and then said: “The answer to what we see here is us, the State of Israel, the IDF and victory.”

The Chief met with Jews who continue to live in Poland and visited the Nozyk synagogue. He also visited a memorial to the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, located at the site of the home used as a command center by Mordechai Anielewicz, the local commander of the Jewish uprising against the Nazis.

“In this place Mordechai Anielewicz didn’t just hide from the Nazis,” Ashkenazi noted, “he also fought. It is fitting that the soldiers of the IDF soldiers learn the story of this uprising. That is why we came to admire and salute the heroes who – despite the realities and balance of power, and the fact that they were untrained civilians – got up and took action and fought. Today we call these principles and moral norms.”

“They knew they had no chance of winning, but they fought nevertheless. That is bravery. The importance of victory is a norm for the IDF and a central part of it, alongside remembrance and study of the Holocaust.”

Before today’s March of the Living, each participant was given the following pledge to recite as well as the words to Hatikva (Israel’s national anthemn) and the mourner’s Kadish (prayer for mourners). The pledge reads as follows:

“We pledge to keep alive and honor the legacy of the multitudes of our people who perished in the Holocaust.

We pledge to fight anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism, Holocaust denial and all other forms of hatred directed towards the Jewish people and Israel.

We pledge to fight every form of discrimination manifested against any religion, nationality or ethnic group.

We pledge to actively participate in the strengthening of Jewish life in the Diaspora and Israel.

We pledge to increase our knowledge of our Jewish heritage and to pass on a love of Jewish life and learning to the next generation.

We pledge to give tzedaka, to assist in helping the Jewish needy, wherever they may live in the world.

We pledge to involve ourselves in tikkun olam, to build a better world for all members of the human family.

After the Shoah the promise of ‘Never Again’ was proclaimed. We pledge to create a world where ‘Never Again’ will become a reality for the Jewish people and, indeed, for all people.

This is our solemn pledge to the Jewish people, to those who came before us, to those of our generation, and to those who will follow in future generations.”

Noah Kleiger, an Auschwitz survivor who has re-visited Auschwitz several times, writes:

For many years now, every time I arrive at Auschwitz, I get the same feeling. It appears to me that it wasn’t me who was here during this incredibly dark period, but rather, someone else whose story I heard at some point in life.

For many years now I’ve been thinking about those Germans who worked at Auschwitz and at other extermination camps. How could it be that every evening the officers returned to their villas outside the camp, kissed their wife and kids, and sat down for dinner with their family? How did they stroke their cat and play with their dog – as I saw with my own eyes many times when I passed by them on my way to doing more hard labor. In the morning, these officers went back to their job: The extermination of thousands of Jews.

How can that be?

Holocaust Memorial Day in Israel begins at 7:30 this evening with a ceremony at Yad Vashem to be attended by government leaders, Holocaust survivors and hundreds of Israelis. President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will deliver speeches during the ceremony, and Holocaust survivors will light up six torches, in memory of the six millions murdered in the Shoah.

A ceremony attended by Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni will be held at 8:00 pm at the Massuah Amphitheater in Kibbutz Tel Yitzhak. Veteran Israelis who arrived to Israel on the ship Exodus will light up the Torch of Revival.

At 10:00 am Thursday a siren will be heard throughout the entire country and Israelis will stand in absolute silence and attention for two minutes. Immediately following the siren, wreaths will be laid at the foot of the memorial for the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.

The annual ceremony ‘Unto every person a name,’ during which the names of Holocaust victims are read aloud, will begin at 10:30 at Yad Vashem and at the Knesset.

Zanne Farbstein was 16 years old when she was deported with her two younger sisters to Auschwitz. While working as a slave laborer, Zanne found her father’s prayer shawl while sorting through the clothing of the prisoners who had been murdered in the camp. Zanne survived Auschwitz , and moved to Israel with her few surviving family members, where she began a new life. Click below to hear Zanne tell you in her own words about her experience:

Most Israelis Agree: Jerusalem is Being Secretly Discussed

(IsraelNN.com) Nearly 60% of Israelis say the Israeli government is secretly negotiating the division of Jerusalem with the Palestinian Authority – despite government attempts to blur the existence of such talks.

This and other findings were the results of a survey carried out by the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies in Bar Ilan University. The official numbers will be presented this Tuesday at a special seminar at Bar Ilan. The Guest of Honor will be Trade Minister Eli Yishai, the head of the government coalition member Shas Party. Yishai has stated frequently that the moment it becomes clear that Jerusalem is being negotiated, his party will quit the coalition.

PA is Sure to Make More Demands

The respondents were asked their forecast of the situation in the event that an Israeli-PA peace agreement would include an Israeli giveaway of Jerusalem’s Arab neighborhoods, Old City and Temple Mount to the PA. Nearly 70% said there is no or little chance that such an agreement would bring about an end to terrorism, and 56% feel there is a high or very high likelihood that the areas would be used for terrorist bases.

The Left’s Mischaracterization of Israel

Israel is us.

The American Right loves Israel. We love Israel because Israel is us. Israel has McDonald’s, night clubs, a middle class, semiconductor plants and nuclear weapons. The Left hates Israel for exactly these same things. Some liberals go one better and equate Israel with Nazi Germany, with Palestinians acting the part of the Jews. As bizarre as this seems to me, it plays well in the emotionally-driven finger-pointing crowd.

Israel is rich, stable and secure, and Palestine is poor and in turmoil. The fallacy is the idea that Israel’s success caused the poverty of the Palestinians. People looking for “root causes” of violence often stop at poverty and assume that the nearest rich people are to blame.

The myth then tells how the poor Palestinians were herded into the ghettos of the West Bank and Gaza and forced to live as animals. Any defensive use of Israel’s military is fuel for the myth of an Israeli “genocide” against the Palestinians, which completes the picture of Israelis as Nazis.
